Lapwai is a small community on the NEz Perce Reservation. The school is the heart of this community of 1000 people. Sprots and other school activities are the center of life for most of the people who live here and in the out lying areas. Lapwai is also the headquarters for the Nez Perce tribal government. The NEz Perce tribe is very busy working to regain many of their cultural practicces and language. They are truly working to live in two worlds.
