About What to Bring:
The things that you need to remember to bring with you
to the summer workshop are: Cameras, GPS Units, laptops
(with project software loaded), power strips, wireless
ethernet cards if you have one, tripods, the necessary
materials to put together a poster session (we will
provide you with pens, pencils, sharpies, rulers, push
pins, demonstration boards, scissors and glue sticks).
You will need to bring some of your pictures and pre-printed
materials with you.
Come prepared for weather that varies from Snow to 100
degrees Fahrenheit. The evenings normally get down to
50 degrees Fahrenheit; the average temperatures for
that time of year are between 80-90 degrees Fahrenheit
during the day. For the Sunday-Monday July 14th-15th,
if you plan on taking day or overnight trips away from
the Hotel, you may need to bring a tent and sleeping
bag. Bring whatever goodies you want to play with for
those 2 days.
