  • Sessions labeled grey are concurrent sessions where you will have ample choises of technologies you wish to explore further. In others you will all be together for other demonstrations, discussions or in break out groups.

** The "Field Work" activity for this second week is for each district team to take data along a transect from the Columbia River mouth to Seaside where the salt works were set up. The data will consist of:

  • a panorama along the coast where data of salinity and water temperature is taken,
  • a GPS reading and an arc view map of that area,
  • at least two other pictures,
  • and a historical comment piece of how society and life changed in that area. Each district will be expected to display this in a web page using the tools of the first week, i.e. Composer, graphics, panoramas, page layout, etc. The data collected will be compiled as a group following the field work sessions.
